Forced draft fans (FD fans) and blowers are used to provide positive pressure and control the pressure inside specific applications. Specific pressures are maintained and controlled by both the FD fans and inlet or outlet dampers. Chicago Blower forced draft fans are most commonly used in boiler systems to force air into the boiler to increase the boiler’s efficiency.
