Prior to cement entering clinker cooler systems, the cement needs to be cooled within a cooling tunnel after it has been dried in a rotary kiln. Chicago Blower’s forced draft fans and pressure blowers force the cool air through the tunnel to reduce the temperatures within the clinker system.
